WSP is currently initiating a search for an Bridge Inspection Intern II for our Goshen, NY office for the Summer of 2019.
This opportunity is available for a college student in good standing working towards a DEGREE in CIVIL ENGINEERING within an accredited program. The candidate will gain experience in Bridge Inspection Related Project under direct supervision of the firm's leading ENGINEERING professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Assisting in preparing contract documents
+ Field investigation
+ Report reviews
+ Document research
# Job Requirements
+ CURRENT standing as a Junior/ Senior (T6 Intern II) student actively enrolled in an accredited Engineering (or related) Undergraduate or Graduate Program.
+ Experience with AutoCAD and Microstation preferred but not required and knowledge of reading plans
+ The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
+ Valid, unrestricted driver license
+ Be a minimum 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
+ Local candidates preferred. Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.
+ Physically capable of performing continuous field work including working at heights and in close quarters, climbing, carrying ladders and gear, working in adverse weather conditions, etc.
+ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
+ Must be in good academic standing

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
